Holts Hill pH Dosing Improvement Project

Independent pre-tender cost validation and delivery guidance for chemical dosing upgrades within a live water treatment plant.

Overview - Infravisory supported the Holts Hill pH Dosing Improvement Project, including new chemical unloading and containment infrastructure, sodium hydroxide storage and dosing systems, upgraded analysers, new dosing lines, and decommissioning of the existing ammonia system. Works were staged to maintain continuous operation of this critical water supply asset.

Challenge - The project required validation within a live treatment plant environment, with key challenges including maintaining operational continuity, constructability within constrained conditions, sequencing of works, and identifying critical long-lead procurement items.

Infravisory Role - Engaged by GHD, Infravisory delivered Class 3 and Class 1 (P80) pre-tender estimates, including BOQ, construction program, constructability and risk review, first principles estimate, basis of estimate report, and market pricing validation.

Outcome - Infravisory delivered a robust, market-informed estimate, validated construction sequencing to maintain operations, identified critical procurement items, and provided confidence in cost, risk, and delivery prior to tender.
